Heart of Esther’s vision was inspired by the perfumes and aromas of the ancient world. The use of beautiful fragrances to perfume the homes of nobility and the palaces of kings has been customary since the dawn of civilization. Perfumes and fragrant spices were a precious commodity, very much in demand, and even more valuable than silver and gold. Fragrant resins and aromatic flowers were used to delight the senses. It was widely known that beautiful fragrances ‘bring joy to the heart’.

​Perhaps one of the most romantic stories to grace the pages of antiquity occurs at the zenith of the Persian Empire when an unknown maiden stepped from obscurity onto the stage of history. Esther was selected Queen of the Persian Empire, one of the most powerful Empires to ever rule the Earth. 

The Persians loved perfumes and Esther’s journey to the throne was paved with beauty treatments and fragrant anointing with the choicest oils of myrrh and sweet rose attar.
